Defeat to Great Britain to End Campaign: North Macedonia Finishes 14th at the European Championship (Division B)

The North Macedonia men's junior national team ended its participation at the European Championship — Division B with a defeat to Great Britain, 83-73, finishing 14th in the final standings.
The game was close and decided by small margins: our players were better in the first quarter (18-21), but at halftime the opponent went ahead 43-39, and the third quarter went to the British side, 16-15.
The Decisive Period
In the final ten minutes the North Macedonian team lost its rhythm and allowed the visitors to reach a double-digit lead — 76-61. In the last two minutes the national team applied pressure and cut the deficit, but did not have the strength for a complete turnaround.
Danev led the team in scoring with 16 points, while Gjorgjevik and Gjinovski recorded 14 points each.
After the tournament, the coaching staff and the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia face the task of reviewing the positives and weaknesses of this performance as they prepare for the youth team's upcoming competitions.
