Junior women lose to Estonia in Tulcea

North Macedonia's junior women's team fell to Estonia 64:76 in their final Group E match for 17th–20th place at the European Championship Division B in Tulcea.

The Estonian side opened strongly and built an early eight-point lead, taking the first quarter 23:15. North Macedonia responded in the second quarter and cut the deficit, leaving the teams at halftime with the score 35:40.

Turning point in the third quarter

The third quarter proved decisive: North Macedonia managed only eight points while Estonia scored 18, pushing the visitors ahead 58:43 going into the final period.

In the closing ten minutes the home side tried to mount a comeback, but Estonia preserved their advantage and closed the game at 76:64.

The most efficient player for North Macedonia was Trajkovska, who finished with 13 points, four rebounds and three assists. Koleva added 11 points along with eight assists and four rebounds.

With this match the North Macedonia junior team ended its participation at the European Championship Division B in Tulcea.
