32 teams confirmed for the 2027 Volleyball World Cup
FIVB finalised the participants for the tournament in Poland; Serbia clinched the last available place.
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has finalised the list of 32 national teams that will take part in the 2027 Volleyball World Cup, the new event that will replace the former world championships. The federation confirmed the final line-up on 29 September 2026.

The tournament will be staged in Poland in 2027 and will feature 32 sides from five continents.

According to the federation's announcement, Serbia was the last national team to secure its place on the roster, completing the 32-team field.
The restructured event is intended to succeed the previous format of world volleyball championships and will bring together established powers and emerging teams in Poland next year.
