Lidl Croatia recalls Milbona High Protein Pudding after Bacillus cereus found
"Milbona High Protein Pudding Chocolate" (200 g) with use-by date 14 September 2026 withdrawn after Bacillus cereus was detected.
Lidl Croatia has withdrawn the product "Milbona High Protein Pudding Chocolate" — a 200 g high-protein chocolate pudding — from sale after tests found the bacterium Bacillus cereus.
The Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food (HAPIH) announced on Wednesday that the affected packs carry a use-by date of 14 September 2026 and are distributed by the German company Fude + Serrahn Milchprodukte GmbH & Co. KG.
Public-health and legal framework cited
HAPIH said the product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002, which sets out the general principles and requirements of food law and establishes procedures in matters of food safety.
The notice applies exclusively to the Milbona High Protein Pudding Chocolate, 200 g, with the use-by date 14 September 2026, and concerns products sold in Lidl stores in Croatia.
Consumers who purchased the product can return it to any Lidl store in Croatia and receive a refund. A fiscal receipt is not required for the return.
