Man and woman injured in collision between car and truck near Tajmishte
Accident occurred at around 8:00; victims taken to Kichevo General Hospital, police conducting on-site inspection.
A man and a woman were injured in a collision between a passenger car and a truck early this morning near the village of Tajmishte in the Kichevo municipality, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Emergency services transported the victims to Kichevo hospital
“The accident happened at around 8 o'clock and it involved a passenger car and a commercial vehicle. A man and a woman who were in the passenger car were injured. They were transported to the General Hospital in Kichevo for medical assistance,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Emergency crews took the two injured people to the General Hospital in Kichevo, where they received initial medical treatment; the ministry did not provide further details about the severity of their injuries.
The police carried out an on-site inspection of the scene. Authorities said additional information about the causes and circumstances of the crash will be released after the inquiry is completed.
Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted while responders worked at the scene; investigators examined the vehicles and the roadway as part of the probe.
