Kratovo woman detained again after allegedly charging visitors at Kamenni Kukli
A 41-year-old identified as S. D. B. was detained after allegedly attempting to sell entry tickets and threatening two visitors from Skopje.

A 41-year-old woman from Kratovo was detained again after police say she tried to collect entrance fees at the Kamenni Kukli site and threatened two visitors from Skopje.
Police said the woman, identified as S. D. B. (41) from Kratovo, was taken into custody on the same allegation following a new report. She had already been arrested in August after an earlier complaint that she physically attacked visitors at the site.
Police statement and next steps
“Police officers from OVR Kratovo deprived of liberty S. D. B. (41) from Kratovo, acting on a prior report that in the 'Kamenni Kukli' site she attempted to charge tickets for entry to the site and threatened R. P. and J. B. from Skopje. After complete documentation of the case, an appropriate charge will follow,” the Ministry of Interior said.
The incident revived attention to longer-standing disputes over management of the protected Kamenni Kukli (Stone Dolls) locality near the village of Kuklica. In early June the Municipality of Kratovo said it has been prevented from managing the site because it has allegedly been illegally usurped and kept under control by the Association "Izvor" – Kratovo.
Municipal officials named Miloš Dimitrovski and his daughter Stojna Dimitrovska Booth as the association’s responsible persons and said they are awaiting a final court ruling that would order the handover of the site to municipal authorities.
Authorities said the latest detention will be followed by formal case documentation and charges if warranted under the law.
