Government opens two calls worth 7 million denars for manufacturing firms
Ministry of Economy and Labour offers grants for university partnerships and standards certification; applications due September 15.

The Ministry of Economy and Labour announced two new public calls totaling 7 million denars aimed at boosting the competitiveness of domestic manufacturing companies.
The first call carries a budget of 5 million denars and targets joint projects that strengthen cooperation between manufacturing businesses and universities. The ministry will cover 70% of eligible costs, up to 500,000 denars per applicant.
The second call has a budget of 2 million denars and is intended to reimburse part of companies' expenses for the purchase, implementation and certification of horizontal and other standards, standardization documents and reports needed to develop and apply socially responsible practices, to support internationalization and greater competitiveness. For this call the ministry also finances 70% of eligible costs, up to 200,000 denars per applicant.
Who can apply and deadline
The measures are aimed at firms from the processing (manufacturing) industry seeking to modernize operations, introduce new technologies or meet export-oriented standards. Applications for both calls must be submitted no later than September 15.
“Our commitment is to direct public support toward measures that create long‑term value for companies and the economy. With these two public calls we provide a total of 7 million denars for the processing industry, focusing on innovation, knowledge, new technologies, standards and greater competitiveness. We want domestic companies to be stronger, more modern and better prepared to enter European and global markets,” said Minister Besar Durmishi.
