Six minors from Skopje have been detained on suspicion of extorting money, police said. The arrests were carried out by the Unit for Internal Affairs Centar and Bit Pazar at the Skopje Police Department, which announced it will press charges after the case is fully documented.

"The Unit for Internal Affairs Centar and Bit Pazar at the Skopje Police Department will file a criminal complaint on grounds of suspicion for committing the crimes 'robbery' and 'robbery in attempt' under Article 237 and Article 237 in connection with Article 19 of the Criminal Code," the police informed.

The police statement did not provide further details about the identities of the detained minors, the alleged victims or the exact circumstances of the incidents.
