GFK Pobeda Prilep officially presented

On 27.08.2026 a press conference in Prilep unveiled a new football project: GFK Pobeda Prilep, a club founded with the explicit aim of rebuilding a strong team in one of the country’s most football-minded cities.

Sporting project and personnel

The club presented Filip Mircheski as its new head coach of the first team. The board said the organisation will place particular emphasis on youth development, and announced that Toni Naumoski will be involved in recruitment and in the work with the club’s youth categories — specifically pioneers and cadets.

GFK Pobeda has registered squads that will include players born in 2010, 2011 and 2012; the club intends these age groups to form a long-term base for future senior squads.

Administratively, GFK Pobeda will begin its inaugural season in the Third Macedonian Football League. Officials said the club will compete at that level while it builds its structures and playing staff.

The first official training of the newly formed side is scheduled for the evening of 27.08.2026 at the artificial turf stadium in the Tipski neighbourhood, where the team will also hold its initial training sessions.

The launch sets out a clear sporting direction: combine immediate competitive participation in the Third League with a steady investment in youth as the foundation for returning a strong Prilep side to higher levels.
