Four detained after drugs found during Kumanovo house search
Officers from the Department for Illicit Trade in Drugs and Weapons and the mobile 'Task Force' detained four people after a court-ordered search at a Kumanovo home; several packages of a white, chunky substance were found.
Four people were detained in Kumanovo after police officers discovered suspected drugs during a house search, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said today.
The arrests took place at 00:50. Officers from the Department for Illicit Trade in Drugs and Weapons and the mobile team "Task Force" at the Kumanovo Police Department detained R.S. (45) from Kumanovo, T.K. (45) from the village Romanovce, N.A. (39) from Kumanovo and M.K. (39) from the village Biljanovce.
The search at the home of R.S. was carried out under a court order. The other three individuals were present at the address when police entered, and investigators located several packages containing a white, chunky substance as well as other items.
All four were taken to the police station. The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that, after the case is fully documented, appropriate criminal reports will be filed against the suspects.
No further details about the quantity of the seized material or possible links to wider trafficking networks have been released so far.
