Protests in Sofia demand resignations of Iliana Yotova and Rumen Radev
Demonstrators say ships hit and sunk in Bulgaria's economic maritime zone were Russian attacks and accuse authorities of pretending not to know.

Peaceful demonstrators gathered in front of the Bulgarian government building in Sofia to demand the resignation of Iliana Yotova and Rumen Radev.
Those taking part said the two leaders have failed to deal with the situation that arose after ships were struck and sank following attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles in Bulgaria's economic maritime zone.
Protesters' accusations
Participants told the crowd that the whole of Europe knows these were Russian attacks, and shouted: "but only the Bulgarian president and the government pretend not to know."
The assembled protesters chanted calls for "resignation", "traitors" and "jail" as they stood outside the government offices.
Organizers described the action as peaceful; demonstrators demanded immediate political responsibility from the country's top officials over the maritime incidents.
