Gjorgji Mojsov earns first win in Serbia as Zemun beat Mačva 1:0

Gjorgji Mojsov finally recorded his first victory on Serbian soil on 23.10.2026, when his side Zemun edged out Mačva 1:0 in the 13th round of the Serbian SuperLiga.

The match, played at the Dragan Džajić stadium in Ub, was decided late: Tabaković struck in the 80th minute to secure the solitary goal and the three points for Zemun.

Relief after a difficult start

The result provides a significant breather for Mojsov after a rocky opening to the season. Zemun had recently returned to the top flight but had failed to win in their first 12 league outings, recording three draws and nine losses prior to this game.

Mojsov’s team relied on a compact defensive showing and a decisive moment from Tabaković to break the deadlock. The narrow scoreline reflects a tight encounter in which chances were limited for both sides.

For Zemun, the victory may mark the start of a recovery as the club aims to climb away from the relegation zone and build confidence in the weeks ahead.

Mačva, meanwhile, will look to regroup quickly and address the areas that cost them the match before their next SuperLiga fixture.
