Paris Saint-Germain: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia successfully operated in Doha
PSG says Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had successful surgery in Doha after tearing his anterior cruciate ligaments and will begin a long rehabilitation.

Paris Saint-Germain announced on October 27, 2026, that their Georgian international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has undergone surgery after tearing the anterior cruciate ligaments in his knee a few days earlier. The club said the operation was performed in Doha, Qatar, and described the procedure as successful.
Club statement and medical update
PSG posted a short medical update about the winger on their social channels: "Medical update concerning Khvicha Kvaratskhelia." The club also noted that the player faces a long and demanding recovery process following the serious knee injury.
The surgery took place at a specialist facility in Doha. PSG did not publish a detailed timetable for his return, but underscored that rehabilitation after an anterior cruciate ligament tear typically requires months of treatment and conditioning.
In parallel transfer talk, the club is reportedly interested in Chelsea's Estevao as a possible replacement for the Georgian wide attacker, according to Tim Tok.
The announcement comes after earlier news that the champions suffered defeat in their opening Challenge Cup match.
