Rabotnicki and Janta Volej start CEV Challenge Cup tonight

Rabotnicki Skopje and Janta Volej KV begin their European campaigns tonight, taking part in the 2026–27 CEV Challenge Cup. Both Macedonian clubs will play the first legs of their ties on Tuesday, 27 October 2026.

Two home-and-away ties for Macedonian representatives

Rabotnicki travel to Greece to face ZAON Kifisia in the opening match, which kicks off at 17:00 local time (Macedonian time). The Macedonian champion, who was among the seeded teams in the draw, will attempt to match the Greek vice-champion in the Zirinio sports hall in Kifisia, a suburb of Athens.

Later tonight Janta Volej KV will host the Czech side Praga in Kumanovo. The first leg in the Challenge Cup tie starts at 19:30 at the local sports hall, where the home team will look to use the advantage of the home court and secure a favourable result ahead of the return match.

Janta Volej KV returns to the CEV Challenge Cup after making its debut in the CEV Champions League last season and will now aim to progress through the early rounds in the continental competition.

Both ties are played as two-legged affairs, with the aggregate result deciding which team advances. Macedonian fans will follow tonight’s matches closely as their clubs seek positive openings in Europe.
