Worker from Berovo seriously injured after truck overturned during clay unloading
On 07.09.2026 at 09:35 Z.S. (68) was admitted to Kochani hospital after a MAN truck overturned while unloading clay; police inspection and notifications followed.
A worker from Berovo suffered serious injuries at a construction site in Vinica and was later hospitalised in Kochani, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the police bulletin, on 07.09.2026 at 09:35 staff at Vinica Police Station received a notification from General Hospital Kochani that Z.S. (68), a resident of Berovo, had been admitted with severe bodily injuries.
Incident during clay unloading
The report states that Z.S. was hurt while performing work tasks for a legal entity in Vinica. During the unloading of clay from a MAN truck at a clay depot inside the company's yard, the vehicle overturned and he sustained the injuries.
An inspection at the scene was carried out, and the case has been reported to a public prosecutor and a labour inspector, the ministry said.
Authorities continue their examination of the circumstances that led to the accident; no further details about the worker's current medical condition were released in the bulletin.
