Handball Federation of North Macedonia joins 'Together for a Cleaner Skopje' campaign
The federation and Fabrika Karposh took part in the Skopje cleanup to promote civic responsibility and European standards.
On 30.09.2026 at 15:55 the Handball Federation of North Macedonia joined a citywide environmental drive in Skopje, taking part in the campaign "Together for a Cleaner Skopje" alongside the company Fabrika Karposh.
The federation's volunteers worked on public spaces in the city, collecting litter and helping to tidy streets and green areas. Officials said the action was intended to underline that caring for the urban environment is a responsibility shared by all residents, not only public institutions.
Sporting values applied off the court
Representatives of the Handball Federation highlighted that the initiative reflects the body's commitment to European standards and to promoting positive behaviour through sport. They emphasised that sports organisations can influence the community both inside and beyond playing arenas.
The collaboration with Fabrika Karposh was presented as a practical example of how private companies and sports organisations can cooperate to improve local living conditions and the city's appearance.
The Handball Federation of North Macedonia summed up the drive with a simple message to the public: "Don't leave trash — leave an example!"
