Handball Federation holds U13 tournament in Skopje’s Rasadnik hall
Regional U13 event in Skopje on 31 October aims to develop young talent, test skills and promote handball among children.
The Handball Federation of North Macedonia will host a regional U13 tournament for younger pioneers from the Skopje area, aimed at encouraging sporting spirit, developing emerging handball talent and promoting the sport among the youngest age groups.
Event details
The tournament will take place on 31 October from 10:00 to 17:30 in the Rasadnik sports hall in Skopje. Young players will compete in a series of matches designed to test skills, teamwork and their enthusiasm for handball, while also offering time for social interaction between teams.
Organisers say the competition is part of a wider plan to stage similar events across other regions, giving a larger number of children the opportunity to take part in the initiative and discover handball at an early age.
Coaches and local clubs from the Skopje region are expected to bring teams that will benefit from match experience and the chance to identify promising players for future development programs.
The tournament is presented as a grassroots effort to strengthen the youth pipeline in Macedonian handball and to increase participation among primary-school age children throughout the country.
