AC Milan signs record €500 million, 10-year partnership with Adidas

AC Milan has agreed a record technical partnership with German sports group Adidas worth €500 million, a deal that will run for ten years and take effect in 2028.

The contract will deliver approximately €50 million to the Rossoneri each season and will see Adidas replace Puma as the club’s kit supplier starting with the 2028/29 campaign. The agreement ties the two parties together through 2038 and guarantees Milan total revenue of €500 million from the partnership.

The new terms represent a major revenue uplift for the club. Milan’s first agreement with Puma, signed a decade ago, paid the club €14 million per season; that figure was raised to €30 million per season following a revision in 2022.

Within the context of Serie A, the Milan–Adidas pact appears to be the most lucrative kit deal to date. Last year Juventus signed a ten-year agreement with Adidas valued at €408 million, while Inter’s eight-year Nike contract, concluded in 2023, has been estimated at about €30 million per season.

Return to a former partner

The deal reunites Milan and Adidas in a commercial partnership. Adidas previously produced Milan shirts in the early 1990s and again during the club’s successful period under Carlo Ancelotti in the early 2000s.

Club officials have framed the arrangement as a long-term commercial boost that strengthens Milan’s financial profile ahead of the 2028 launch. The switch in kit supplier will be implemented ahead of the 2028/29 season as scheduled.
