Pelister announced the decision tonight on its social media channels, without providing further explanation.
Background
Mehmedović was presented to fans as a major signing on 25 May and took part in the club’s pre-season preparations under coach Lino Cervar.
The club’s short notice did not explain the reasons for the separation; instead, it stated that "the club thanked him for his engagement during this period."
Mehmedović, a handball player from Bosnia and Herzegovina, will not wear the Bitola side’s shirt in the upcoming season despite having trained with the squad.
Pelister now faces a roster decision ahead of the new campaign as preparations continue and the team reassesses its lineup following the unexpected departure.
