RK Vardar 1961 unveils commemorative away jersey for 65th anniversary
The away kit — inspired by 65 years of club history — will reach official sale before the 2026/27 season; a friendly with Dinamo Pančevo was postponed after injuries and a viral infection.
On 26 August 2026 RK Vardar 1961 revealed a special commemorative away jersey ahead of the new season, a kit created to mark the club's 65th anniversary and to honour decades of domestic and European successes.
The design, the club says, draws on the brightest moments from Vardar's history — the trophies and landmark victories celebrated by generations of players and supporters — and will be worn on the road during the 2026/27 campaign.
The anniversary jersey will be put on official sale soon so supporters can wear the club colours during the coming season and join the team in new challenges.
Postponed friendly and health problems
On 26 August 2026 Vardar was due to play Dinamo Pančevo, but the match has been officially postponed after the squad suffered a string of injuries and a viral infection that affected players following the memorial tournament in Ohrid.
If the team's medical condition permits, Vardar's next scheduled test is on 2 September in Gevgelija, where they will face GRK Ohrid with the first domestic prize of the year — the Supercup of Macedonia — at stake.
