RTS appoints acting director and head editor of news programme
Dejan Jovanovic is acting director and Borivoje Uskokovic becomes head of RTS news after Manja Grcic resigned on October 28, 2026.

Radio-Television of Serbia (RTS) has new temporary leadership after its Management Board appointed an acting director and a new editor for the news programme following the resignation of its general director.
Dejan Jovanovic, previously deputy director of RTS, was named acting director, while long-time editor of the Third News bulletin, Borivoje Uskokovic, was appointed chief and responsible editor of the news programme.
RTS confirmed the personnel changes during its Second News bulletin, where the report on the resignation and ensuing appointments was not presented as the top item but appeared in the sixth minute of the broadcast.
Decisions taken electronically after Grcic's resignation
The Management Board adopted the decisions at an electronic session after general director Manja Grcic submitted her resignation on October 28, 2026. Grcic had been appointed to the post in February 2026 for a five-year mandate.
Before handing in her resignation, Grcic dismissed Bojana Mladenovic from the position of editor of the news programme and proposed that Uskokovic take that role. Her resignation came after candidates from the Student List and a portion of RTS staff demanded her resignation and the resignations of other members of management and news editors.
Separately, a group of 70 RTS employees had proposed Jovan Memedovic to be named acting director.
