Russian strikes hit Kyiv, Odesa and other Ukrainian regions — more than ten wounded

Russian air strikes hit residential and infrastructure targets across several regions of Ukraine, injuring more than ten people, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Attacks struck Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia

The State Emergency Service (DSNS) reported damage to buildings in Kyiv and said seven people were wounded in the Black Sea port city of Odesa; among the injured were two children.

Zelenskyy said the strikes — carried out with ballistic missiles, other missiles and drones — struck ordinary apartment buildings and also targeted energy facilities, causing additional disruption.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that missile debris fell on warehouses and near a petrol station, among other locations, increasing the risk to civilians and emergency crews.

Authorities in the Dnipro region said several buildings were damaged and that water supplies were interrupted in some settlements. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine was struck with ballistic missiles.

Emergency services continue to respond and local officials have warned residents to follow safety instructions while damage assessments and aid to the wounded proceed.
