Sabrina Salerno, 58, still turns heads — how she keeps her figure
The 1980s icon still posts striking bikini photos, credits gym work and a Mediterranean diet for her shape and remains active on stage.

Sabrina Salerno, the Italian pop star who became a global sex symbol in the 1980s with the provocative video for the timeless hit "Boys," remains a striking presence at 58. She continues to attract attention on social networks, where she is followed by more than 1.3 million people and often posts photos that highlight her flat stomach, slim silhouette and signature curves.
How she keeps the figure
Salerno combines regular gym training with a Mediterranean diet, which she credits for her maintained shape in her sixth decade. Besides staying physically active, she is still musically present — performing at concerts and revisiting the repertoire that made her famous.
Reflecting on public perception and her private life, Salerno has been candid. She said: "I see myself more as intelligent than as a beautiful woman, despite people always looking only at my appearance. I also deny all rumours about numerous men in my life – I had only three romantic relationships in my entire life, including my current husband with whom I have been together for 30 years."
Her career highs have not come without struggles: after the huge global success of "Boys," she fought a long battle with severe depression and later found peace in a calm family life in the countryside.
Despite predictions in her early twenties that her career was finished, Salerno has sold over 20 million albums and keeps returning to the spotlight. One notable moment was her festival performance at Sanremo in 2020, where she delivered a celebrated rendition of her biggest international hit.
Salerno has been married to Italian businessman Enrico Monti since 2006; the couple were together from 1994 and have a son, Luka Maria.
