Salah’s Trabzonspor debut ends in draw; Bardhi gets only 7–8 minutes for Konyaspor

Two fixtures from the opening round of the Turkish Süper Lig on 15 August 2026 produced mixed emotions for new signings: Mohamed Salah’s first appearance for Trabzonspor ended in a 1–1 draw at Kasımpaşa, while North Macedonia captain Enis Bardhi was used only briefly for Konyaspor in their 0–1 home defeat to Rizespor.
Salah came off the bench in the 58th minute and quickly found himself involved in a clear goalscoring opportunity, but he was unable to convert and Trabzonspor left Istanbul with a single point.
For Konyaspor the story was different. Enis Bardhi was introduced very late in the match and, excluding stoppage time, played only around seven to eight minutes on the pitch.
The Konyaspor–Rizespor game was decided deep into added time: the visitors secured a 0–1 victory thanks to a penalty struck in the 90+7th minute.
