Saša Ilić again submits resignation, Partizan to look for new coach
Ilić stepped down after a 0-2 defeat to Čukarički in the 13th round; club management will meet on Sunday to discuss his future.

Saša Ilić has again submitted his resignation as Partizan's head coach following a 0-2 home defeat to Čukarički in the 13th round of the Serbian SuperLiga on 25 October 2026.
The former club legend made the decision after the setback at Humska Street and did not face television cameras or offer comments in the mixed zone, a silence that intensified speculation about his future on the bench.
Board to meet on Sunday
Club leaders are expected to hold talks with Ilić on Sunday in an attempt to find a solution. It remains unclear whether they will persuade him to change his mind or begin the search for a new coach.
Ilić has already handed in his resignation twice earlier this season but stayed on both occasions due to encouragement from supporters and the club's management.
There has been no official confirmation from Partizan about an end to the cooperation, yet available information indicates Ilić is firmly determined to leave the coaching position.
The club faces the immediate task of deciding whether to accept the resignation and open the recruitment process for a successor, or to try once more to retain Ilić amid growing pressure from recent results.
