Saša Kovačević postpones tour after health setback
Management says several concerts in Serbia and Croatia are delayed due to complications following foot surgery.
Management released an urgent announcement after the popular singer Saša Kovačević experienced a sudden deterioration in his health about twenty days following surgery on his foot. His team said the change forced the difficult decision to postpone parts of the ongoing tour.
Soon after the operation, Kovačević tried to keep to his schedule — even performing just three days after the procedure in Majdanpek, seated on a chair and wearing a cast on his leg. Medical staff later identified new complications and concluded that an extended period of strict rest is necessary to avoid more serious consequences.
In an official statement the management informed fans: „We inform you that Saša Kovačević's upcoming concerts are postponed due to a deterioration in his health following foot surgery, and he is currently unable to perform on the originally scheduled dates.”
Organizers expressed hope for a prompt recovery and a resumption of the tour: „We hope that Saša Kovačević's health will improve soon so the tour can continue and the remaining concerts can be held as planned. Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support.”
Postponed dates
The affected performances, postponed until further notice, include concerts in Serbia and the region:
- 16 October – Kragujevac, Hala Jezero
- 17 October – Šabac, Hala Zorka
- 23 October – Rijeka, Sala Exportdrvo
- 24 October – Pula, Dom sportova Mate Parlov
Organizers said new dates will be announced soon and that all already purchased tickets will be valid for the rescheduled shows. Fans have been asked to keep track of official channels for further updates.
