In the yard of the Panorama kindergarten, which is a branch of the Kocho Racin kindergarten, the old retaining wall is being removed and in its place a new reinforced concrete structure is being built.

The new wall will have a length of 37.26 metres and a height of 3.6 metres. The Municipality of Centar points out that this is a 25-year-old wall that will be replaced with a structure with foundations wider than the previous ones.

Value and deadline

The municipality claims that the construction is being carried out according to all applicable standards, with particular emphasis on the quality of materials and the technical execution. The project is worth 5,992,394 denars and will be fully completed within one month.

Mayor Goran Gerasimovski linked the project to a larger investment program ahead of the start of the new school year.

"This summer too we are investing in educational infrastructure. At the moment work is also under way to install a new energy-efficient façade on the 'Cyril and Methodius' school, next is the sports hall at the 'Kole Nedelkovski' and 'Goce Delchev' schools, and repairs are underway at Primary School 'Dimitar Miladinov'," the mayor said.

The Municipality of Centar adds that it continues the ongoing process of improving infrastructure in schools and kindergartens on its territory.
