A four-year-old boy from North Macedonia named Bogdan is missing after an incident on the shores of the Drin River in the Alto Mare area of Albania.
His family reported him missing and have been searching for some time. They notified the Golem police, who are involved in the search, while Bogdan’s mother, Sanja, is described as visibly distraught and the family is asking locals to join the search efforts.
At the time he disappeared, the child was wearing a green swimsuit and was carrying a water pistol toy.
Alarming incident near Vau i Dejës
This afternoon an alarm was raised near the Spatar bridge in Vau i Dejës, where two people were reportedly swept away by the current of the Drin. Videos circulating from the scene show chaotic moments as people run along the riverbank.
Residents say they alerted emergency services and that authorities arrived at the scene, but there is no confirmed information yet about the fate of the two people carried by the water.
Anyone who has seen Bogdan or has information about the incident is asked to contact the Golem police immediately.
