An Assembly session dedicated to MPs' questions took place in Skopje, during which opposition deputies addressed questions to the prime minister and to several government ministers.
Opposition members raised a range of concerns aimed at different ministries, and exchanges between the ruling majority and the opposition grew heated on several topics.
Key topic and clashes
One of the matters highlighted during the session was West Nile fever and the related public-health questions: MPs asked who will protect pupils with the start of the school year. Ministers gave responses but faced sharp criticism from opposition deputies.
Throughout the session ministers provided answers to parliamentary questions, while opposition deputies pressed for clearer measures and accountability on issues they said affect citizens directly.
The session underscored continuing political tension in the Assembly as lawmakers from both sides used the question time to challenge policies and demand concrete steps from the government.
