Seven killed in Gaza after drone strikes Islamic University; eight students wounded
Three security staff were killed and eight students wounded when a drone struck the university; Israeli forces say they are checking the reports.

Seven people were killed and eight students wounded after a drone struck the Islamic University of Gaza in the north of the territory, local Palestinian sources said, while four others were reported killed elsewhere in the enclave.
The Israel Defense Forces said it was looking into the reports.
Several staff at the Islamic University of Gaza told local outlets that a drone hit a campus building, killing three security personnel and wounding eight students who were attending classes at the time.
Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City confirmed that three bodies had been brought to the facility and that its medical teams were treating eight wounded from the strike.
Education ministry warning
The Palestinian Ministry of Education said some of the wounded students are in critical condition and added that "Ten students and professors have been killed in the past six days", also stating that "95 percent of the buildings of higher-education institutions" have been damaged during the three-year war between Israel and Hamas.
Gaza Civil Defence, which operates under Hamas authorities, reported that four additional people were killed in other parts of the territory. The Gaza Health Ministry, run by Hamas, says more than 1,500 Palestinians have been killed in the past year; the United Nations regards those figures as credible.
