Family statement rejects any political link

In the written declaration, the Pavarotti family said it “has never given permission to use Luciano Pavarotti's voice, name or identity.” The statement added that the family “strongly distances itself from any association of his person with political messages, views or initiatives.”

Luciano Pavarotti, one of the most famous operatic tenors of the 20th century, died in 2007. The family’s intervention comes after the circulation of the video on social platforms, which prompted immediate objections from relatives.
