Shkëndija host Tikvesh in Skopje — Manev: We must be 100% in every duel

Shkëndija, top of the Macedonian First Football League, will host Tikvesh on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 19:00 on the Petar Miloshevski complex in Skopje. The match is part of the sixth round of the championship.
Shkëndija arrive at the fixture with a perfect record: five wins in five league games so far this season.
Coach's message
Jovan Manev — who has been with the club for about a month — said the team will not become complacent despite leading the table.
"Of course it's pleasing to be leader and to have that status. Still, it's clear to all of us that we will have to work hard to keep it that way. We go at every match at maximum regardless of the opponent. Tikvesh is a quality side, and we must be 100% focused. I've been here about a month, but I feel as if I've been much longer. I have been very well received by everyone, and that means a lot to me" — said Jovan Manev ahead of the game against Tikvesh in Skopje.
Shkëndija say they will approach the game with full focus and intensity, aware that Tikvesh represents a capable opponent despite the visitors' current place in the table.
