Shkendija remain perfect after five rounds; Struga TL second, Vardar eight points behind

On 01.09.2026 the fifth round of the 2026/27 Macedonian First League was completed after yesterday’s entertaining match in Kavadarci, where Tikves and Vardar drew 1:1. The result closed out round five and left the standings with a clear leader at the top.
Shkendija remain perfect after five games, with five wins from five and 15 points. That leaves them five points clear of second-placed Struga TL, who have 10 points and a +7 goal difference.
Tikves from Kavadarci sit third with 8 points following the draw against the reigning champions. Their goal difference after five rounds is +8.
