Shkendija held to 2-2 by Arsim, Polozani: We concede goals too easily
Tetovo side led 2-0 but allowed Arsim to come back for a 2-2 draw; coach Polozani blamed defensive lapses and poor finishing.

Shkendija failed to return to winning ways after their defeat to Tikvesh and were held to a 2:2 draw away at Arsim on 12 September 2026. The Tetovo side opened a 2-0 lead, but the hosts staged a comeback and took a valuable point.
Before the game coach Artim Polozani had warned that his team needed to correct mistakes and lift their level of play.
Polozani: defensive lapses cost us
"What worries me most is the way we concede goals. For a serious team that claims to be excellent, I think the way we concede goals is unacceptable. I cannot say anything about the second goal because we try to play, but we have to do it calmly. I think the main problem is the way we concede goals, because then it really becomes even harder. Then we have another issue, that we don't finish our chances. When you play away from home and you don't finish your 100% chances, then it becomes difficult and what happened today with a mistake can happen and you get punished," Polozani said.
The coach singled out both tactical and technical shortcomings in the performance. He also noted that the return of injured players could make a significant difference for the team going forward.
Shkendija must address defensive fragility and improve their finishing if they want to move back up the table after a run that now includes the loss to Tikvesh and this draw at Arsim.
