FK Shkëndija appoints two sports directors in management reshuffle
Festim Ademi and Erkan Selimi named sports directors as FK Shkëndija reshuffles management after the title loss to Vardar.

On 24.08.2026 at 11:40 FK Shkëndija confirmed a restructuring of its sporting management that will see Festim Ademi and Erkan Selimi take up roles as sports directors.
Club reshuffle follows last season's disappointment
The club moved to replace Adrijan Cuculi, opening space for a broader reshuffle within the management aimed at stabilising internal tensions after losing the title to Vardar. The changes formalise responsibilities that several officials have already exercised informally for years.
Festim Ademi is not new to the club’s leadership: he has been part of Shkëndija’s management for years and will now appear with the official title of sports director. Erkan Selimi, who has previous experience working with coaching staff, will share the sports director duties.
The announcement raises questions about overlapping roles: it remains unclear whether Selimi will continue as assistant to Goce Sedloski with the North Macedonia national team while serving as a sports director at Shkëndija. Observers note that it is unusual for a sporting director at a high-profile club to simultaneously hold an assistant coaching post at national-team level.
Veldrim Uka has been appointed technical director of FK Shkëndija; Uka has for years worked as an advisor to the Destani family. Erblir Luma is named the club’s new general secretary, completing the set of recent personnel moves at the club.
The club says the reorganisation is intended to clarify mandates inside the management and to put the team on a firmer footing ahead of the coming season.
