Croatia coach Slaven Bilic lost his temper during the Nations League fixture in Seville, angrily confronting an assistant referee after a disputed stoppage while his side trailed 3:1.

The incident occurred in the 75th minute, when Bilic believed the ball had gone out of play and that Croatia should have received a throw-in. Play continued and Spain kept possession; Bilic left the technical area and gestured furiously toward the assistant.

His shout — "You idiot! You idiot, what are you looking at? It was completely out!" — was audible on the television broadcast and was later seen in clips circulating on social platforms.

The confrontation did not alter the course of the match. Spain added another goal before the end and recorded a convincing 4:1 victory, with Niko Williams making the final scoreline in the 89th minute.

Bilic’s reaction drew immediate attention from commentators and fans, and the exchange underlined Croatia’s frustrations on a difficult night in Seville.
