Slavica Angelova received recognition in Strumica and marked the performance with rock classics
She traveled to Strumica to perform at the Summer Guitar School, where the concert was dedicated to the musician who died in the Kočani fire.

The singer Slavica Angelova returned to Strumica to perform at the traditional concert of the Summer Guitar School, an event at which she has been a regular participant for more than six years. This year the event took on a special emotional dimension after the program was dedicated to a young musician from the band DNK, who lost his life in the Kočani fire.
Special recognition and powerful performances
Because of her long-term dedication to the school and the local music scene, Angelova was presented with a special recognition by the organizers. She thrilled the audience with powerful renditions of world rock classics, among them "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit", as well as the timeless Macedonian song "My Guitar".
Slavica publicly expressed her satisfaction and gratitude to the professor and organizer of the school, Master Vasko Pilichev, and, as she said, to all who supported her musical path.
"This recognition has a special value for me because it comes from my hometown and is confirmation of all the years of hard work and sincere love for music," the singer emphasized, while congratulations on social networks arrived from all sides.
The performance, however, was also a reminder of the painful tragedy that struck her family and the entire public. Among the injured in the fatal fire at the nightclub in Kočani was her uncle.
"My uncle was injured, had burns and was treated with medication. Fortunately, he managed to pull through and is out of life-threatening danger. May God be with all those who went through that hell," Slavica recalled.
She also spoke with pain about the musicians from the band who lost their lives that night: "I knew all the guys from the band who perished. I am very sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to collaborate with them. They were my favorite group and I loved going to their performances. Fortunately, that night I didn't go there..."
