Slavić steers Ohrid to dramatic comeback — final again against Vardar

Slavić produced a match-defining display as GRK Ohrid erased a five-goal deficit and forced a 30-30 draw to reach the final of the Krste Andonovski tournament, setting up a fresh showdown with Vardar.

In front of the home crowd at SC Biljanini Izvori, Zagreb had controlled large stretches of the game and at one point led by five. Ohrid chipped away at that advantage through the second half and turned the game in the closing minutes.

Late saves and a composed equaliser

The decisive factor was goalkeeper Slavić, who finished with 13 saves overall — nine of them coming after the interval. Top scorer in the match was Dominik Mate with six goals.

The drama peaked in the final minute: with less than a minute remaining, Karačić failed to convert on a 29-30 attempt and Slavić repelled the shot, giving Ohrid the momentum. Rojević drew up the next play, but Ivanković could not find the net to secure the win for Zagreb. Slavić denied the follow-up as well, and Džukić levelled the score at 30-30.

Zagreb had six seconds left after that but were unable to score, and Ohrid celebrated a dramatic comeback. The result sends GRK Ohrid into a final against Vardar — their second meeting in a short span following Ohrid’s victory at the Struga tournament.
