Today MPs will debate several draft laws by shortened procedure, including amendments affecting senior executives, administrative officials, public‑sector employees and the Law on Foreign Affairs.

Assembly holds 125th session with bills on administration, public sector and higher education

The Assembly will hold its 125th session today, where MPs are scheduled to consider several draft laws covering administration, the public sector, higher education and science.

Bills to be discussed

Under a shortened procedure, deputies will debate the following draft laws:

  • Draft Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on High Executives
  • Draft Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on Administrative Officials
  • Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Administrative Officials
  • Draft Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on Employees in the Public Sector
  • Draft Law on Supplementing the Law on Salary and Other Remunerations of Elected and Appointed Persons in the Republic of Macedonia
  • Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Forests

Also on the agenda is the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Foreign Affairs, which will be considered in first reading.

The listed proposals will be examined under the shortened legislative procedure, which expedites parliamentary consideration compared with the regular process.

The Assembly published the agenda ahead of the meeting; further developments and voting outcomes will be reported after the session concludes.
