Short-term outlook
The Hydrometeorological Service (UHMR) forecasts a gradual decline in temperatures tomorrow and over the next few days. Afternoon hours are likely to bring localized instability with heavy showers, thunderstorms and stronger gusts of wind. In some places conditions could develop into severe storms accompanied by strong winds and hail.
Authorities and citizens are advised to take basic precautions against the extreme daytime heat and to stay alert for sudden afternoon storms in higher terrain. Drivers and residents in affected mountain areas should expect sudden downpours and reduced visibility during convective activity.
