Sunny and very warm weather will prevail on August 23, 2026, with only small to moderate local cloudiness for much of the country. Temperatures will remain high during the daytime.
In the afternoon clouds will build up in several areas and locally there will be a risk of heavy, short-lived showers accompanied by thunder and gusty winds. In isolated places storms could produce strong winds and hail.
Skopje
In Skopje the day will be sunny and warm with little to moderate cloud cover. During the afternoon parts of the basin may see brief heavy rain and thunder. A weak to moderate wind from the north is expected.
People in affected areas should be prepared for sudden changes in weather: localized downpours, lightning and temporary wind gusts that can make travel and outdoor activities difficult.
