A man was found lying on the street this morning near the faculties of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, opposite the courts in Skopje, after what police later confirmed was a traffic accident.

A photojournalist recorded two short video clips from the scene showing people gathered around the injured man and checking his condition. Among those who approached to help in the first clip is Vice‑Prime Minister Bekim Sali.

What the footage shows

The first clip captures bystanders inspecting the man while waiting for medical assistance; in the second, an ambulance has arrived and emergency personnel, assisted by several people at the scene, lift the man onto a stretcher and place him inside the ambulance.

The clips are timestamped in their file names at about 10:14 and 10:56 on the morning of August 24, 2026. Police confirmed to reporters that the incident is being treated as a traffic accident, but authorities have not released information on the injured person’s medical condition.

Local police said the investigation at the scene is ongoing and gave no further details. Journalists at the location documented the response by emergency services and the involvement of bystanders, including the vice‑prime minister.
