Stable epidemiological situation in Gostivar — 60 new consultations registered yesterday
The Ministry of Health informs that, although there is an increase from the previous day, the number is far below the peak of July 18.
Yesterday, 60 new consultations were reported at health institutions in Gostivar, the Ministry of Health (MoH) informed. The consultations were recorded in the city's primary healthcare institutions, including the Gostivar Health Center.
The ministry said that although this figure represents an increase compared to the previous day, the overall trend is significantly lower compared to the peak on July 18, when 649 consultations were recorded.
"The epidemic situation in Gostivar is stable," the health authorities said in the statement.
Key figures for the period July 14–31
From July 14 to July 31, a total of 4,543 consultations were registered in Gostivar. There were 1,028 formal reports of infectious diseases filed and 730 new epidemiological investigations carried out, with a coverage of 71 percent.
The local report also states that on July 30 there were 36 consultations recorded, with four patients hospitalized that day — a figure roughly half that registered the previous day.
Health services say they will continue intensive monitoring of the situation and that surveillance measures for clinics in the Municipality of Gostivar remain in force in order to respond promptly to any changes.
