Scoreboard: 26-32 for the visitors
Coach Ivan Cupić and his players battled throughout the match, but the Polish team arrived in Skopje well prepared and ultimately justified its status this season.
Despite the 26–32 defeat on the scoreboard, the Komiti supporters once again saluted the handball squad and stayed behind the team, applauding and offering encouragement even after the loss.
Among those in the stands was former captain of the North Macedonia national football team, Stefan Ristovski, a known admirer not only of FK Vardar but also of the club's handball side.
The match in Skopje underlined persistent gaps Vardar 1961 must address if the team is to fight for points in the Champions League. The supporters' loyalty, however, was visible until the final whistle.
