Stefania Nachevska, 27, joins the Macedonian National Theatre
Stefania Nachevska (27) graduated FDU in 2023 and from 2026 is a member of the Macedonian National Theatre ensemble.

Stefania Nachevska, 27, has joined the Macedonian National Theatre in 2026, continuing a family connection to the arts that has long been a source of pride for her grandmother, the singer and host Julija Macievska. Stefania holds a diploma from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, completed in 2023 at the department for dramatic actors with knowledge of Turkish, in the class of professor m-r. Eljesa Kaso.
From childhood dubbing to the stage
Her interest in languages and acting began early. According to family accounts, Stefania learned Turkish as a child by working on dubbing Turkish television series for Sitel TV, and over time she moved from small roles to more substantial parts that led her toward theatre.
Stefania is described as a true polyglot: in addition to Macedonian and Turkish, she speaks English and Italian fluently. Those skills, together with formal training, helped secure her place in the national theatre ensemble.
Her stage abilities were noticed by audiences and relatives alike. After the premiere of the play "K'smet," viewers praised her strong onstage transformations, and her grandmother publicly expressed admiration following a shared photograph after the premiere.
For Julija Macievska, whose life has included difficult losses — the early death of her daughter Andrijana and an earlier loss of her first husband at a young age — Stefania represents a continuation of a long-held dream. In a recent appearance on the entertainment programme "Kafe muabeti," Julija spoke emotionally about her hardships and emphasised the pride she feels in her granddaughter's achievements.
Stefania Nachevska's move to the Macedonian National Theatre marks an early career milestone for the 27‑year‑old actress and signals the arrival of a new voice on Skopje's professional stage.
