Valencia secured a 1-0 away win at Elche on November 1, 2026, thanks in large part to a last‑ditch effort from goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski. The Macedonian shot‑stopper produced several important saves in stoppage time and completed the match with a spectacular final block in the 94th minute to preserve the victory.

Key moment

Throughout the closing stages Dimitrievski was decisive, denying Elche on multiple occasions before the decisive intervention deep into added time. His late contribution ensured Valencia kept a clean sheet and took all three points on the road.

Fans and the club’s social channels celebrated the save. One post from APAVCF captured the dramatic finish: "The final stop in the last minute of added time by Dimitrievski — WHAT A SAVE!!" — APAVCF (@apavcf), November 1, 2026.

The match’s only goal arrived earlier, when Sadiq netted in the 69th minute to put Valencia ahead 0-1.
