North Macedonia's goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski, who was named his team's best player in the opening UEFA Nations League match against Switzerland in Skopje, says the squad expects a different game when they meet Slovenia.
“We did not play our best against Switzerland, but tomorrow we face a new match and we are already fully focused on the new duel. The Slovenians are an excellent team, Jan Oblak is one of the best European goalkeepers of the past decade, and I hope that my net will not shake and that we will celebrate success,” Dimitrievski said.
He specifically singled out Slovenia's quality and the threat posed by Jan Oblak, underlining that the Macedonian side must be concentrated from the first minute if they want a positive result.

The match against Slovenia will be played on 29 September 2026 at Stožice Stadium in Ljubljana, with kickoff scheduled for 20:45 local time.
