Stolevski: Respect for Sileks — but we intend to keep the points at home
Goalkeeper Antonio Stolevski says the team learned lessons from the opener and expects full support at Čair for today’s 17:00 kickoff.
Shkendija Arachinovo arrives in Čair aiming to convert momentum into history as the club prepares for its first home fixture in the top domestic division. After a difficult opening round that ended with a lesson against the champions Struga Trim Lum, the club moved quickly in the transfer window to reinforce its back line.
Goalkeeper Antonio Stolevski says the team has already moved on from their first-game errors and is fully focused on the next opponent.
"From the match against Struga we drew the necessary lessons. That match is over and our thoughts are 100% focused on the next challenge," Stolevski said.
Match-up and form
Sileks travel to Čair buoyed by confidence after a resounding 6-0 victory over Bashkimi, and Stolevski acknowledges the quality of the visitors while underlining his side's intent.
"Sileks is a quality opponent who deserves maximum respect, but we will fight for every ball on the pitch from the first minute to the referee's final whistle," he added.
Stolevski also appealed to the club's supporters to provide atmosphere and support for what the team hopes will be a landmark result.
"We are not in the First League by chance and we did not come here to play a cameo role. I invite all our supporters to fill the Čair stadium and be our 12th player toward the first historic home victory," Stolevski said.
The kickoff for Shkendija Arachinovo vs Sileks is scheduled for today, 7 August 2026, at 17:00 at the Čair stadium.
