The decision to award recognitions is founded on the fact that, since the start of the transition period, the Macedonian economy has repeatedly faced major crises. Through continuous, direct communication with companies and via public–private dialogue with government institutions, the Chamber helped preserve healthy businesses.

The Chamber follows a long-standing practice: recognitions are handed over on the exact day each company celebrates its anniversary, rather than at a single joint event.

The awards are intended both as a mark of appreciation for long-term loyalty to the Chamber and as acknowledgement of the companies’ resilience during economic, health, financial and energy shocks over the decades.
