Struga TL signs defender Edison Kola
25‑year‑old centre‑back Edison Kola arrives from Tirana after two seasons and 36 appearances.
Struga TL confirmed the signing of defender Edison Kola (25) on 22.08.2026. The club announced the arrival of the center‑back as a reinforcement to their defensive roster ahead of the season.
Kola is a Crete‑born stopper who holds Greek citizenship and also an Albanian passport. His career includes spells with clubs in Greece and Cyprus; his most recent club was Tirana, where he spent two seasons and made 36 appearances for one of the top teams in Albania.
What Struga gains
Struga TL expects Kola to boost competition in the back line. Once he adapts to the squad, coach Bledi Shkëmbi believes Kola can become one of the players who help carry Struga's game forward.
The club's sporting moves in recent days, including this signing, signal increased ambition for the coming campaign as they strengthen several positions.
Officials said the coaching staff will integrate Kola gradually and monitor his fitness and tactical fit before giving him extended minutes in league matches.
